Once they master one set of skills, add more to their plate, so they have to continuously learn new things. This prevents boredom and complacency, and it shows your employees that you’re investing in them, which will boost their loyalty and productivity.
Most people start to feel resentful when they’re being micromanaged and told what to do all the time. They want the freedom to make their own decisions, choose their projects, and demonstrate that they have the company’s best interests in mind as they work.
