Our Team at PrideStaff St. Pete/Clearwater
Prior to starting PrideStaff, Matt was the Chief Operating Officer for the 2012 Tampa Bay Host Committee for the Republican National Convention where he managed the day-to-day operations of the Host Committee. Matt moved to Florida in 2006 and spent five years working as a private banker in southern Pinellas County for Regions Bank. Earlier in his career, Matt served in the Administration of President George W. Bush at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and finished his service as the Deputy Chief of Staff and White House Liaison. In this role, he had program management responsibilities and led the recruitment and interviewing of all political appointments to the SBA.
Amanda grew up in Clearwater and graduated from Countryside High School and the University of Illinois. Prior to moving back home in 2006, Amanda served in various recruiting positions within the White House for President George W. Bush. In her career, Amanda led the appointment process for all Schedule C political appointments for the Bush Administration and later served as a Special Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel. In that role, she focused on recruiting executives and industry experts to serve on various boards and commissions, on behalf of the President. Amanda has significant experience interviewing staff at all levels of their careers, and across many different industries, to determine the suitability and fit for the position.
The Big Picture:
PrideStaff’s mission is to “Consistently provide client experiences focused on what they value most.” For some, a mission statement like this is merely plastered on the wall and forgotten. For us, however, it’s a filter that influences every decision we make and action we take. We back up our service promise with quarterly surveys, to make sure we consistently deliver on our mission and improve our client service.
PrideStaff is a big company with a small company feel. We love living in the area, working with businesses, and providing them the best of both worlds – the power and resources of a national organization, combined with the personal touch of a local owner.
The Scoop on Staffing:
Our experience has taught us that the success of any organization depends on its ability to build the right team, and we know what it takes to create them because we have done it. Now, we want to take that knowledge and partner with our clients to help them build a better business or career.
In Tampa Bay’s changing employment environment, we see significant opportunities to help small businesses grow their teams without committing their time, effort and resources to a search. They have businesses to run and other important tasks to accomplish. Our staffing agency helps organizations become more efficient, save money and increase productivity.
For candidates, our goal is to provide opportunities where they feel valued and have the right cultural fit, while growing personally and professionally.
Secrets to Success:
We have found that honesty and transparency are two of the best attributes we can have in business. With open communication, straight answers, and visibility into our efforts, we can overcome most hurdles and build both respect and trust.
Our best stress release is found in spending time with our two children, family and friends. We also enjoy reading, traveling and being involved with our church.
